Button Accordion Workshop on March 21, 2021

On March 21, 2021, John taught a nearly three-hour intensive button accordion workshop on Zoom.

In the workshop John covered a wide range of topics useful to all accordion players including ergonomics, bellows management, fingerings for common scales, playing style, how to learn and practice tunes, rhythm, and how to get the lift in your playing.

This recording is a "must have" for any student of the Irish accordion!

While John is a B/C diatonic button accordion player, the information taught in the workshop is applicable to playing traditional Irish music on any style of accordion.
